I've always
loved B Movies. The first movie I ever watching was
Godzilla. I only have one distinct memory from watching the
movie. It was the part where the military erected the giant
electric fence to protect the city. Godzilla being the pimp
that he is, walks right thought it without any hassle. If
that was wasn't cool enough (and lefts fact it at that age a
giant killing dinosaur is about the coolest thing in the
world) he started to breath fire. I can still remember the
sheer awe I had for Godzilla at that moment. Even as a
teenager I was attracted to B Movies. Films like Robot Jox
and and Wedlock left an equal impressions on me. When I
turned 15 I found the greatest science fiction movie of all
time. A movie that changed my life in more ways than I care
to admit. I found PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. And of course it
was being shown at 2am in the morning. When else does it get
screened? Once again like that 5 year old boy watching
Godzilla I was equally in awe. Maybe I'm just slow but the
first time I watched I didn't noticed any of its flaws. I
only saw the heart, the love and the pure imagination that
was put into it. In fact the older I get the more I watch it
and the more I'm convinced there is nothing wrong with it.
Also later on that year I also discovered this obscure cult
movie known as Star Wars. I'm not sure if any people have
heard of it? So what compels an some what educated adult to
peruses such frivolous interests? I often wonder that
myself. When I'm not watching B movies I work in a homeless
shelter ;) Contact
