What on earth is going on at the Asylum?!! Get this, they
have just wrapped principle photography on
Megafault.
Megafault
is there biggest production to date and is there first
original production for the Sci-Fi Channel.

stars Brittany Murphy! Yes, you read that correctly Brittany
Murphy. No, her career isn't going down hill? In fact she
has just been cast in
The Expendables
with no doubt will be known as the greatest action film of
all time. I feel the need to quote The Simpsons and say
"Everything is coming up Millhouse!" for the Asylum. This
will also mark David Latt's return to directing. The film
will premiere on Sci-Fi later on this year and dvd shortly
after.
But it doesn't end there, they have just co-produced a
documentary called
The Invocation.
According to Imdb it's "an exploration of the notion of
'God' and World Peace through Religion, Spirituality,
History, Science, Politics and Arts". It also features
interviews with Mark Wahlberg, Rosario Dawson, Malcolm
McDowell, Oliver Stone, Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra, Desmond
Tutu, and Brain Cox! On top of that it was filmed all over
the world.
The Invocation
was directed by Emmanuel Itier who you might remember as he
directed the intolerable
Scarecrow (2003).
Here is the trailer. It's pretty long and the first 30
seconds is incredibility naff but hang in there.
