Roger Corman's Dinocroc
will be squaring off against
Roger Corman's Supergator!
I wonder who is going to win. I've got feelings it's going
to be Roger Corman's wallet. I wonder if
Roger
Corman's Dino Shark
make a cameo? Who knows? Details on the plot or casting are
non-existent, but thankfully the title tells us everything
we need to know. Jim Wynorski is set to write and direct.
Shooting will begin in Hawaii in about two weeks.
Dinocroc (2004) is about a genetics laboratory that tried to
resurrect a prehistoric carnivore,
Sarcosuchus imperator!
If that wasn't bad enough it accidently gets mixed up with a
modern day
crocodile,
resulting in a Dinocroc! This was followed up three year
later with an sequel called Supergator (2007). It was
unofficial due to the fact that sequels went rating that
well on the Sci-Fi Channel. Not surprisingly Supergator
pretty much as the same plot. A prehistoric alligator been
recreated from fossilized DNA... and you guessed it, it
escapes!
