And the dvd
sequels keep on coming. The latest to get the "unrelated
sequel" treatment is END OF DAYS! Remember End
of Days?!!
To be honest it took me a second to. It was that really,
really bad one involving Arnie fighting the devil. It was
set in the mystical world of the year 1999. The only thing I
can remember about it was it has a hydrous plot
point involving a priest telling Arnie that the number of
the beast often occurs upside down and with the number 1 in
front of it. Get it '666 = 1999'. GROAN!
I can
understand why studios want to cash on the brand names for
popular films. But why make a dvd sequel from a bad one that
people can barely remember? On a positive note END OF DAYS:
DAMNATION has every chance of being better than then
original. Even with all of Arnie's powers he couldn't manage
to save it pile of crap. It has a release date of 2010. No
other details are known.
